This month, we’ve decided to use this data to launch a series of posts busting common dating myths.
First up: Do Jewish Men Really Have a Thing for Asian Women?
Yet even at the best interracial dating site, you can meet people having certain preconceptions. When you meet someone special on an interracial dating site and fall in love with this person, figure his/her culture out. Any foreign culture is surrounded by myths, rumours and stereotypes in the view of other people (if we, for instance, talk about ethnic minorities in a particular society).
Sometimes, it is not so easy to get rid of those negative convictions.
And let’s not forget that the statistics say that Black men aren’t buying into marriage either. That’s like Johnnie Cochran giving the State of California inside information to gain OJ Simpson’s conviction.
As commitmentphobic as Black men supposedly are, I think there’s a valid reason to say that this advice dispensing could be viewed as a serious conflict of interest.
Forgive me for saying this, but I have a hard time stomaching this trend.
Then my friend turned to her college friends, all black women, and told them I dated black men.
Of course, the topic of racial preference in relationships has been looked at before, famously by OKCupid as well as the New York Time’s Tierny Lab.
However, we at CMB feel uniquely suited to test this specific hypothesis because of our –how shall we put it– enormously overly-representative Jewish & Asian membership.
You learn to deal with the tolerance/intolerance problem.
Most boundaries between people are to be broken nowadays. All nations have some peculiar features that, on the one hand, make them stand out and on the other hand, make them hard to understand and embrace.
